Standards

Standards as some of you may know are a must when training horses, but can be hard to find especially when you arrive at a show and only find two pactice jumps and thirty riders trying to warm up. Our standards are light enough to move around and take on the road but are durable enough to last year after year. They can be easily loaded into your trailer and take up very little room and are great for shows, clinics and everyday use.

It is important when starting to use these training tools to try and establish even strides between the cavallettis and poles or standards and poles. Each horse will have a different stride length depending on the size of the horse or pony. So remember to have a friend watch you a few times and adjust accordingly.

Using several poles, standards and cross poles at a time will enable you to teach your horse to ajust his/her stride and to judge each jump on approach. Always remember "PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT".

All wood products are unpainted.

Remember to periodically tighten all bolts on standards and cavallettis to ensure stability.
