Caron grew up in a small village in the North Wales
area of Britain and developed a love for horses at an
early age.
At ten years of age she started riding and was soon
jumping her pony by the age of eleven. At twelve while
at school with her horse Pacer, Caron was given the
opportunity to jump at a youth horse
event. Having placed third in her first event this was
the start of an eight year run in which Caron competed
in eventing and jumping competitions and enjoyed
hunting in the off season.
As Caron became more experienced in the jumping ring
she began helping others with their horses. Although
the local facilities were lacking Caron didn't
hesitate to make good use of the local hills which
provided all the natural jumps she needed to hone her
skills and also gave her the idea to use everyday
objects to use as practice jumps. As many young people
do the feed buckets, barrels and any think else she
could get her hands on, were used to jump over.
After moving to the States in 1989 and meeting Don,
Caron took some years off to have a family. Caron once
again had the opportunity to ride. Moving from
the Phoenix area with her family and horse Callie.
They moved to rural Kansas and started a small horse
boarding business.
Needing jumps for their jumping arena they found it
hard to find good quality wooden jumps and training tools in the Midwest and decided with both of their
backgrounds to make their own.
Here we are today making quality training products for
people like you.
